Kyiv Metro transported about 496 mln passengers in 2018

In total, 496 million passengers used the metro in the capital in 2018. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Metro.
The most popular metro line is the red one: it was used by 204 million 515 thousand people. The most loaded station is Lisova (20 million 701 thousand passengers).
In addition, 172 million 833 thousand trips were made on the blue metro line last year. The maximum passenger traffic was at the Minska station (17 million 114 thousand people).
In its turn, the trains of the green subway branch carried 118 million 723 thousand passengers. The largest passenger traffic was recorded at Poznyaki station – 14 million 546 thousand people.
As The Journalist reported, recently installed new turnstiles were closed in the Kyiv metro.
