Because of the heavy and prolonged snowfall that has covered Ukraine, international airports of Kyiv and Boryspil warn of possible corrections to the flight schedule. About this reports, the press service of Boryspil airport on Facebook.
"In the conditions of a long snowfall, Boryspil carries out all necessary measures for the organization of flight safety. Intensive work is underway to clean the runway, aprons and anti-ice handling of aircraft. During the bad weather, there may be some changes in the flight schedule. Please, specify the time of departures / arrivals of flights on the online scoreboard of our website,” the message says.
The second international airport – Kyiv does not publish any information on delays or cancellation of flights due to snowfall on its corporate website. But in parallel with this, "Mind" with reference to the information service of the airport Kyiv informs, that flight delays due to bad weather range from 40 minutes to an hour.
