Odessa Portside Plant OJSC (OPP) will launch ammonia and carbamide production units on February 1, supply of raw materials will be provided by the Energy Equivalent company. About this reports Ukrinform.
“The directorate of port plant has concluded an agreement with company “Energy equivalent”, which positions itself on the market as a supplier of imported gas for the supply of raw materials for the launch of our enterprise. Now “Energy equivalent” forms gas reserves for OPP: it is planned that on January 24 the company will pay for processing of raw materials, and on January 25 to nominate gas for our plant in February,” said Mykola Shchurikov, director of Odessa Port Plant OJSC.
The plant plans to start production of ammonia and carbamide on February 1.
According to the contractual obligations, the company "Energy equivalent" will provide the plant with raw materials for the implementation of a 4-month production program.
According to some data, the company "Energy equivalent" is ready to transport finished products to Ukrainian consumers, since it has a railway fleet.
The director of the port plant also noted that this is the last attempt to launch it, and if this contract does not start, there will be no possibility to resume production in the future. Because there are practically no qualified personnel at the plant and there are not enough workers for a full-fledged production process.
