Mortality rate in Ukraine twice as high as the birth rate. According to the latest statistics there are 58 new born for 100 died, as Ukrinform reported, referring to Ukraine’s State Statistics Service.
“The population of Ukraine was 42,177 million people as of December, 2018. The population decreased by 208,8 thousand people in January-November, 2018,” the message says.
It is noted that in 2018, the birth rate in Ukraine fell by 7% compared with the previous year.
As The Journalist reported, over 6 thousand road accidents involving buses occurred in Ukraine in 2018.
