The maximum number of students in a class should be no more than 30 children, but this rule is often violated, Liliia Hrynevych, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, said this in the air of ‘Breakfast with 1 + 1’ TV show.
In particular, Hrynevych noted that the maximum number of children in a class is established as 30 students, and violation of this norm is possible in classes where the local government is irresponsible to the school network.
“Separation into groups is possible only when there are a certain number of students in a class. In rural areas – more than 25 people. The rest of the schools have 27 pupils,” the minister explains.
Classes are divided into groups for the study of certain subjects, in particular, Ukrainian and foreign languages, computer science or in-depth study of other disciplines.
