In Kyiv, law enforcement officers arrested the head of the commission for the reorganization of one of the state-owned enterprises of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine on a bribe of 275 thousand hryvnias. About this reports the press service of the Department of Economic Protection of National Police on its official Facebook page.
The head of the commission for the reorganization of one of the state-owned enterprises of Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine was exposed in extortion and obtaining undue advantage.
«The official demanded and received 275 thousand hryvnias of unlawful benefit from the head of one of the limited liability companies for transferring budget funds to the company’s account in the amount of 1.5 million hryvnias for the work performed under the contract», the statement reads.
The court chose the attacker a preventive measure in the form of an arrest for 60 days, or as an alternative – a pledge in the amount of 2.3 million hryvnias.
Earlier, The «Journalist» reported that an official of the Mykolaiv mayor’s office, who should fight corruption, detained on a bribe.
