The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to increase the cost of electronic visas up to USD 85 from January 1, 2019.
It is noted that the Government](https://www.kmu.gov.ua/ua/npas/pro-vnesennya-zmin-do-pravil-oformlennya-viz-dlya-vyizdu-v-ukrayinu-i-tranzitnogo-proyizdu-cherez-yiyi-teritoriyu ) approved amendments to the rules for issuing visas for entry into Ukraine and transit through its territory, which provide new procedures from January 1:
cancellation of registration of foreign tourist and business visas at checkpoints across the state border at the international airports Borispol, Kyiv (Zhulyany) and Odessa, since Ministry for Foreign Affairs have been issuing electronic visas centrally since April 2018;
an increase in the tariff of the consular fee for issuing e-visas from USD 65 to USD 85;
expansion of the list of grounds for issuing an e-visa.
In addition to the business and tourist purpose of entering Ukraine, the electronic visas are introduced for travel to Ukraine for private purposes, for treatment, activities in the field of culture, science, education, sports, as well as for media representatives.
