At least 22 new flights were launched from the Ukrainian airports, most of them are carried out by the Ryanair low-cost airline, 12 flights from Kyiv and 5 from Lviv. This is reported by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Facebook.
In addition to Ryanair, new flights are carried out by Wizz Air, Tarom and Atlasglobal airlines.
«I dreamed about this when we opened symbolic doors to Europe on June 11 last year, when we introduced a visa-free regime. Now we expand opportunities for Ukrainians to travel at competitive prices. Visa-free travels take action, and Europe is becoming closer and more accessible,» said in a statement.
Recall that the new Belgian airline has entered the Boryspil airport.
