The Kyiv route buses carriers intend to raise the fare for transportation. Following them, carriers on suburban routes will raise prices too. This is reported by UNN news agency.
According to the director of the Transgroup company, Volodymyr Nazarenko, the fare in minibuses will increase by UAH 1-3 by the end of the year. The fare for each route will be calculated individually.
«The increase of tariffs in the city will be insignificant, within one or two hryvnias. Suburban routes will rise in price from one hryvnia to three, depending on the distance of the route,» said Nazarenko.
The cost for travel on some routes in Kyiv has become equal to the fare for public transport at the moment and is UAH 8, but in the case of the further increase in the cost of fuel, the price will continue to grow.
