JFO in Donbas: two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded

On October 17, in the zone of military operations in the east of Ukraine, two JFO soldiers received combat-related injuries. It is reported by the press center of Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ on Facebook.

It is noted that the occupiers launched 17 attacks on the Ukrainian positions, 7 times using heavy weapons, prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
Militants shelled JFO positions in the area of settlements Katerynivka, Novoluhanske, Verkhniotoretske, Avdiyivka, Novomykhaylivka, Novotroyitske, Starohnativka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Talakivka, Lebedynske and Shyrokine.
In particular, enemy resorted to 120mm mortars to shell the Ukrainian positions near Talakivka. The Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Novoluhanske, Hnutove, Lebedynske and Shyrokine came under 82-mm mortars fire.
According to the intelligance data, four militants were wounded over the past 24 hours.
As The Journalist reported, the militants attacked JFO positions 19 times over the past day: two Ukrainian soldiers were killed, one wounded.
