Almost 2,900 Ukrainian military deceased in Donbas

Almost 2,900 Ukrainian soldiers deceased in Donbas since the armed conflict in Donbas began. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, 112 Ukraine reports.

«On the one hand, the whole country marked the national holiday (October 14, – ed.), and the celebrations took place not just in Kyiv where enthusiasts and volunteers opened a new memorial complex – thanks to the assistance of Defense Minister and the Chief of the General Staff. The complex pay tribute to the 2,896 heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine, stopping the Russian aggressor,» – Poroshenko said.

Earlier, the Chief Military Prosecutor Anatolyi Matios said that nearly 900 soldiers were killed as a result of murder and suicide during the armed conflict in Donbas.
