Border guards of Transcarpathian region received new patrol cars

The Chop border guard detachment was staffed with the new off-road vehicles. This is reported by The Prozahid inform agency.
It is reported that on the occasion of the Ukraine’s Defender’s Day, the border guards of the Transcarpathian Oblast have received the new Renault Duster off-road cars.

«Certificates for vehicles were handed over to the Head of the Chop border guard detachment by the Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Colonel General Petro Tsyhikal, during his working visit to Transcarpathia Oblast,» – the statement said.

It is noted that new vehicles will help to increase the technical capabilities of border guard units, as well as their mobility during performing the service tasks.
As The Journalist reported, a citizen of Moldova who was hiding from Interpol, was detained in Odessa Oblast.
