The head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced the death toll of the SBU in Eastern Ukraine for the entire war. In the Donbass during the war killed 27 employees of the SBU, and another 128 were injured. This is reportedly in management of institution on the occasion of Day of Defender of Ukraine on the official website of the Ministry.
«A low bow to the twenty-seven Heroes of the Service, who gave their lives for the statehood and freedom of the Ukrainian people. One hundred and twenty-eight of our colleagues were injured of varying degrees of severity», the statement says.
«For courage and heroism during the anti-terrorist operation and the joint operation, 227 employees of the Ukrainian special services were awarded state awards», the head of the SBU said.
