This is reported by the Deputy Director General of the Kyivan Sophia National Historical and Cultural Reserve, Vadim Kirilenko.
The report notes that the professionals completed restoration work on the domes and facades of the St Cyril’s Church (an architectural monument of the 12th century).
According to Kirilenko, funds for the work were provided by patrons of art.
It is noted that the Kyivan Sophia Reserve provided all technical supervision, documentary support and the work of chemists – technologists and designers.
Its useful to note that the Architectural and Archeological Expedition of the IA NASU had conducted scientific and rescue research at the St Cyril’s Church, on the territory of the Kyivan Sophia National Reserve, in May – June 2018.
As The Journalist reported, Kyiv residents ask for help in restoring historical justice.
