The Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva has told that the number of subsidies and the gas tariffs for 2019 were planned accordingly to the forecast of growth rate of tariffs by 25%, which was submitted to draft state budget, 112.Ukraina reported.
«When this is about the next year, our plans go strictly in accordance with the forecast indicator, made by National Bank; it will be 25% increase of the gas tariff,» – Reva said.
It is noted that if the price for gas to raised right now, the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission will not be able to raise tariffs for hot water or heating the very next day: there is a certain time gap stipulated by law.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has said that the increase for gas prices would cause «minimal losses».
As The Journalist reported, the Ternopil authorities have appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers regarding subsidies.
