On October 4, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has ordered to the Cabinet of Ministers to the immediate organization of humanitarian assistance to Indonesia in connection with the earthquake and tsunami. This was reported on the website of the Head of State Administration.
«Indonesia is very close to us, despite the distance,» – Poroshenko said.
He also stressed that Ukrainian food and medical aid can save lives. In addition, Petro Poroshenko recalled that Indonesia had always voted in support of the Ukrainian resolutions in the UN and recalled that in August 2016, he had visited that country.
