Officially, the heating season in Ukraine starts on October 15, but local authorities may decide to start supplying heating to homes, taking into account the actual weather conditions, reports 112 Ukraine.
«Today we make a decision about the beginning of the heating season from October 15. But each local authority has the right to individually decide when to start the heating season, taking into account the actual weather conditions», the message says.
In addition, Groysman said that in Kyiv, hot water and heating will be served soon.
« Kyiv mayor turned to me for help in this matter. Government helped them in every way it could, so that the issue was resolved, and in the coming days, perhaps in the coming week, Kyiv will receive all housing and communal services, including hot water and heat», Groysman said.
Earlier, The Journalist reported that the Kyiv authorities claim that the heating season will begin after cooling.
