According to the Governmental press service information, posted on Facebook page, Ukraine ranked 17th in the open data development rating.
The corresponding information was published on the Open Data Barometer website. It is reported that Ukraine has received 47 points, which is 27 pts more compared to the results of a similar rating compiled in 2015.
«According to the Open Data Barometer, our country received 47 points. For comparison, in 2015 she had only 20 points. Ukraine took the second place among the countries that made the greatest progress in the development of open data over the last 4 years.
The increasing of open data makes it possible to improve the quality of public services, improve the quality of people’s lives and to effectively monitoring all the processes that occur in the country,» – the report says.
As The Journalist reported, Ukrainian passport takes 24th place in the most «powerful» passports of the world rating.
