Intelligence: Russian military in Donbas select goods from businessmen, rob young people and beat women

Russian military in occupied Donbas select industrial and food products from entrepreneurs, and also resort to robbing teenagers and beating women.

This was reported by the press secretary of Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Maxim Pruta with reference to information of Main Intelligence Department.

Speaker said that in August-September a group of Russian servicemen of military commandant’s office of Thorez, with threats of firearms, forced local private entrepreneurs to give up material values (fuel, food and industrial goods) free of charge under the guise of collecting so-called «aid to the front line».

«In Donetsk on September 16, two so-called servicemen of 9 separate assault motorized infantry regiment of the Marine Corps 1 AK AK RF robbed local teenagers – they took away mobile phones and small money. At the same time, one of the robbers stabbed a man who tried to protect the children. On September 17 so-called servicemen from the same regiment beat civilians, among whom was a young woman. War criminals were detained by local residents and accused the victims of the attack for their justification», Pruta said.

As The Journalist reported the draft state budget-2019 provides for allocation of 2.7 billion UAH for exploration.
