Ukrainian State Budget lost about UAH 25 billion this year due to gasoline’s shadow market

The State Budget of Ukraine has received UAH 25 billion less revenue this year because of the existence of the shadow market in petrol and diesel.

This was stated by the Head of the Accounting Chamber Valeriy Patskan, as UNIAN news agency reported.

«The State Budget has received UAH 25 billion less from the shadow market of gas this year. I’m more than confident that it would be easier to finance different programs, as well as for the Finance Ministry to distribute its expenditures, and the social sphere could be much more successful,» – said Patskan, adding that the members of the Accounts Chamber received such a figure, calculating it with a special formula.

As The Journalist reported, draft state budget-2019 provides for raising 325 billion UAH of loans.
