Judge, who leads the case of murders on Maidan, was attacked

In Kyiv, near his own house the judge of Svyatoshinskiy District Court of city of Kyiv, Serhii Dyachuk, who conducts cases of murders on Maidan, was attacked. About this informs press center of the Council of Judges.

«Council of Judges of Ukraine appeals to law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate the attempted attack and take urgent measures to ensure that the attacker was detained and brought to justice. In addition, the highest judicial self-government body again draws attention to the fact that construction of civil society and rule of law in Ukraine is impossible without the establishment of a court, every patriot of Motherland provides independence and protection», message says.

Victim was taken to the hospital. Law enforcers failed to detain the attacker. At the crime scene, the police worked, information about the incident was included in a single register of pre-trial investigations.
