Eurovision-2019 will host the Israeli city of Tel Aviv. This is reported on official Eurovision song contest page.
International song contest will be held for the 64th time. Venue for the Eurovision Song Contest will be Expo Tel Aviv (International Convention Center). Dates of Eurovision -2019 are revealed: 14 and 16 May – the semifinals, respectively, on May 18 – the grand finale. Other candidate cities were Jerusalem and Eilat.
This year, Israel won the Eurovision Song Contest for the third time. In 1979 and 1999, the competition hosted Jerusalem. For the first time Israel participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1973 (in general Israel participated for 42 times).
