Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said that in 2019 the Cabinet will allocate 56 billion hryvnia for road works. He informed about it during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 12.
In 2018 48 billion hryvnias were allocated from state budget for repair of Ukrainian roads. 11 billion of this amount was sent to field, and level of performance is monitored. At the same time, head of government noted that in coming year 56 billion UAH will be allocated for road works.
«If this year we have allocated 11 billion for local roads, then next year we will allocate 17 billion for local roads», Groysman said.
It is noted that the level of implementation of road repair plan in country is uneven. In some regions, work is completed at 100%, while in other regions indicator reaches only 20%.
