According to the publication Golos Ukrainskoyu Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) occupied the 29th place in the ranking of the most powerful armies in the world according to the research of the international company Global Firepower.
It is known that to determine the so-called power index of each of the countries of the world –«PowerIndex of the country» – 55 indicators are processed, which eventually allow us to determine the leaders of the rating. An ideal result is an indicator with a mark of-0.00.
Following characteristics are taken into account when compiling the rating: geographic location, financial stability, total number of weapons, reserves of natural resources, participation in military alliances, logistics, etc. It is noted that in the formation of a rating, state’s possession of nuclear weapons does not affect definition of its PowerIndex.
According to the analysis conducted by experts, the United States of America took the first place with PowerIndex 0.0818. The last place in the rating was occupied by the army of Bhutan with the indicator PowerIndex 7, 5497.
