Ukrainian Radical MP Ihor Mosiychuk said that the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine decided to dismiss the entire senior staff of the Lukyanivska Detention Center after the riot of the ex-fighters of the Tornado battalion and ascertaining that they were handed over prohibited items. This Mosiychuk wrote on his Facebook page.
«I was informed that the Ministry of Justice decided to dismiss the entire leadership of the Lukyanivska prison. This is connected with the events in Lukyanivka [Detention Center] during the transfering of imprisoned fighters of the Tornado battalion to other detention facilities,» – the message says.
At the same time it is noted that, according to the politician, punishment should be incurred solely by those of the prison employees who are really guilty of violating the detention regime of prisoners.
Recall, on August 9, during the transfer of fighters of the Tornado battalion, clashes between citizens and law enforcement officers occurred at the Lukyanivska prison.
As The Journalist reported earlier, the Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatolii Matios said that the riot of ex-fighters of the Tornado battalion became possible, among other things, because of the failure of his duties as a prosecutor.
