According to the official report on the website of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, medicines for six programs, purchased for public funds, will be available in hospitals soon.
In particular, the following programs: «Children with hemophilia type A and B or Willebrand’s disease», «Haemophilia patients», «Patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases» (Alteplase (50 mg), «Patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases» (Ticagrelor (90 mg), Metoprolol (1 mg / ml, 5 ml), «Orphan metabolic diseases», «Psychiatric disorders and behavior from the autism spectrum» (children).
As the message of the Ministry of Health said, the funds from the state budget, allocated for the purchase of medicines at the national level, can cover an average of 45 percent of the total volume of the demand.
«For example, the program «Adult Oncology» is funded by 30%, and the program «Children’s Dialysis» is covered almost by 100%. Procurement of drugs through international organizations allows negotiating special low prices for Ukraine, and due to this increase the volume of purchased medicines,» – the website of the Ministry said.
