Over the past day, the enemy opened fire on the Ukrainian army positions 18 times, with no use of heavy weapons. This is reported by the press center of the HQ of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation on Facebook.
According to reports, yesterday, July 19, Russian occupation forces were most active along the entire contact line and opened aimed fire on the defenders of the settlements of Krymske, Zhovte, Luhanske, Svitlodarsk, Maiorsk, Avdiyivka, Pisky, Kamianka, Novotroyitske, Novomykhailivka, Lebedynske, Hnutove, Shyrokyne and Vodiane.
No casualties among the Ukrainian soldiers were reported over the past day.
The report notes that according to intelligence data, three occupants were killed and another one was wounded.
«Since Friday midnight, Russian occupation troops two times opened fire on the positions of Ukrainian defenders of Shyrokyne and Vodiane. As a result of the enemy’s aimed fire, the United Forces serviceman was injured,» – the report said.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, militants opened fire on the Ukrainian army positions 17 times over past day.
