The report notes that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision and approved an action plan to improve the quality of mobile communication services.
It includes provisions for updating the list of quality indicators, approval of updated mobile quality indicators (voice, SMS and Internet access), it is planned to establish the possibility of routing voice telephony traffic to the final equipment of subscribers of local fixed-line networks using mobile communication networks.
In addition, in the event that it is not possible to restore the provision of telecommunication services within one day in the event of emergencies, accidents, theft or damage to lines and station facilities fixed by law enforcement agencies in the established manner, operators will be able to provide public telecommunications services using stationary end equipment with an integrated radio module.
In addition, to improve the accessibility of telecommunications services in rural areas, it is planned to ensure the common use of the fixed and mobile network infrastructure.
