In the Chernobyl zone, a resident from the Kyiv region picked up 12 kg of blueberries and wanted to sell it on the market. About this informs the press service of the National Police.
The source reports that in the area of village Yasen during the scheduled patrol the police of the zone of the Chernobyl discovered and detained the lawbreaker. Berries were seized and sent to the appropriate expertise to determine the level of radiation in them.
It is noted that for the penetration into the exclusion zone without permits for the citizen, an administrative protocol has been drawn up in accordance with Art. 46-1 (Violation of the requirements of the radiation safety regime in the areas exposed to radioactive contamination) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
The issue of opening a criminal proceeding under Art. 267-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the requirements of the radiation safety regime) is a question of time.
