The mission of the People’s Republic of China began its work in Ukraine, which conducts activities aimed at assessing the system of state control over the production of cherries. This is reported by the press service of the
State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumers Protection (SSUFSCP).
In the course of the mission, an analysis will be made of the phytosanitary risk during the export of Ukrainian cherries to the PRC. In addition, it is noted that the draft protocol of phytosanitary requirements will be developed for the export of these products to the Chinese market.
It became known that the representatives of China are carrying out a number of trips to the regions of Ukraine with the purpose of acquaintance with the peculiarities of growing, storing, packaging of sweet cherries and phytosanitary procedures carried out by the territorial bodies of the State Service during the control of the formation of export batches of sweet cherry.
It should be noted that as of today, Ukrainian fruits and berries are supplied to more than 30 countries of the world, including to the EU countries.
Earlier «The Journalist» reported that the export of Ukrainian products to the European Union grew to 26.5%.
