Saakashvili demands to return him Ukrainian passport

The former president of Georgia and the ex-governor of the Odessa region, Mikhail Saakashvili, called on Petro Poroshenko to return him the passport of a citizen of Ukraine, reports Ukrainska Pravda.

“You have deprived me of citizenship in violation of Ukrainian legislation and in violation of international norms,” Saakashvili said.

The politician also stressed that Poroshenko has enough time before the second round of the presidential election, in order to “act according to the law.”
