It is planned to reconstruct the Kyiv funicular (Mikhailovsky Mechanical Lift) as a recently discovered cultural heritage site and adapt the building to the conditions of modern use without changing its historical and legal status, the KCSA press service reported.
Restoration work will be carried out for budget expenses. In particular, in 2019 for these works will be allocated UAH 1.29 million.
As The Journalist reported, repair of 1.3 km of tram lines in Podil district of Kyiv will cost almost UAH 290 million.
