The number of airports in the world that have switched to the correct spelling of the names of Ukrainian cities in accordance with the international system of romanization of geographical names – Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa – is already 26.
This is reported on Facebook page of the CorrectUA campaign.
Among the latter are Kazakhstan’s Nursultan Nazarbayev airports, Almaty International Airport, and Orio-al-Serio Milan Airport.
Recall, CorrectUA is a campaign aimed at better informing the international community about the correct forms of Ukrainian names in order to avoid mistakes.
