On the eve of this weekend, there was a presentation of the 2nd International StartUp Gogolfest festival and a joint project of Gogolfest and Ukrzaliznytsia – GogolTrain.

“Mariupol is our outpost; this is the bastion that holds back the Russian invasion. Last year’s festival was the largest cultural and artistic event near the front during the war. This year we went further. April 26, we launch the first European art train GogolTrain. People will come to Kyivska Station, paying tribute to the great Ukrainian writer Mykola Gogol, and will travel to Mariupol in an art train. I am convinced that this art train will travel all over Ukraine, thus uniting it, giving a signal that the code of Ukraine is a long, majestic story, which thousands of years and nothing will ever win,” said Volodymyr Omelyan.
“This is an absolutely successful project that will turn Ukraine into a tourist attraction. Many foreigners eagerly come to this festival, they are interested, they sing Ukrainian songs, try Ukrainian cuisine, and thus they learn Ukraine. It is the most important that Ukraine was not Terra Incognita, but rather attracted tourists to itself, ” the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine noted.
Recall that this year Gogolfest will be held in Mariupol for the second time from April 26 to May 1.
