The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drug Control launches pilot project in Kyiv in May. Now inspectors of territorial bodies of service will conduct checks and record their actions via the digital video recorder (DVR). By the end of the year, the designated system is planned to be introduced in all oblasts of Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported.
The innovation is expected to make inspections more transparent and objective, significantly reduce corruption risks and protect the inspector from possible provocations (by the subject of the inspection).
Inspectors will wear DVR cameras mounted on clothing, which will not interfere their work. In addition, DVR will be equipped with a GPS device for transmitting the exact coordinates of the place where the check is carried out.
The fixing system of the verification process will facilitate the documentation of the observations in the preparation of the report. The video can be an effective tool for solving controversial issues that may arise during inspection.
As The Journalist reported, the rules for issuing driver’s licenses have been changed in Ukraine.
