Russia conducts snipers training gathering in occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts

This statement was made by the representative of the Ministry of Defense Dmytro Gutsulyak, Ukrinform reports.

“The Russian occupational command continues to provoke an exacerbation of the situation. It paid special attention to the use of sniper units to inflict losses among the personnel of the Joint Forces. At the same time, under the guidance of instructors who arrived from the Russian Federation on May 3, 2019б snipers training gathering of compounds of 1st (Donetsk) and 2nd (Lugansk) army corpuses of the Russian Armed Forces,” said Gutsulyak.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Defense, during the preparation of snipers, RF used research samples of heavy sniper rifles and converted anti-tank guns.

Gulutsyak noted that specially formed groups of snipers from one of the Russian private military companies arrived in the occupied territories to carry out the so-called “special” tasks on the contact line.
