Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the change of the monument category “A section of the coastal city quarter of Medieval Kiev” on the Postal Square in the city of Kyiv to the category of national importance. About this informs Uryadovy portal.

“Postal Square is a unique center of Ukraine-Rus. From now on, “The site of the coastal city quarter of Medieval Kyiv,” and simply “Poshtova” became a monument of archeology and history of national importance! … Inspired by today’s decision of the Government, I believe that there will be a Museum on Poshtova Square!, Minister of Culture Yevhen Nyshchuk wrote on facebook.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that in Kyiv, archaeologists discovered a street of the XVII – XVIII centuries.
