Ukraine and Mexico have reached the final stage of negotiations on the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of both countries. This was reported by the Director of the Department of the Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Serhiy Pohoreltsev, on Facebook.
It is reported that full-scale talks on consular issues were held between Ukraine and Mexico on May 27.
It is noted that one of the main topics of discussion was the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of Ukraine and Mexico.
“Given the tendency for the annual growth in the number of traveler-citizens of Ukraine and Mexico, the establishment of a visa-free regime will give a significant impetus to the development of multi-vector bilateral cooperation, primarily in tourism, trade and economic, investment, scientific and cultural and other spheres,” said Pohoreltsev.
