The Facebook Corporation officially appointed Kateryna Kruk as Public Policy Manager in Ukraine. This is reported by Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Dmytro Zolotukhyn on his Facebook page.
“Kateryna Kruk announced that Facebook, an international corporation, has officially chosen her for the position of Policy Manager in Ukraine, based in Warsaw. It must be said that we have been waiting for this for many years”, – wrote Dmytro Zolotukhyn.
Zolotukhyn added that Kruk is an honest person of sound principles. She is an expert in the information space, as well as the speaker at all recent relevant conferences on disinformation.
The deputy minister also expressed the hope that with this appointment the Facebook company’s non-professional attitude towards Ukraine and Ukrainians would stop.
Earlier The Journalist reported that Facebook deleted 118 pages spreading anti-Ukrainian propaganda.
