The presidential administration expressed a clear position on the annexed Autonomous Republic of Crimea, as cenzor.net reports.

The press secretary for the head of state Yulia Mendel said that Ukraine “had not forgotten about Crimea.”

“Crimea is Ukraine,” the presidential spokeswoman said.

Mendel noted that the presidential administration wants to be transparent, but at the moment it is too early to speak about any decisions.

The press secretary of the President stressed that Ukraine’s position on Crimea’s territorial possession remains unchanged.

It should be reminded that the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, aimed at the violent unlawful rejection of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol from Ukraine with their accession to the Russian Federation (as the so-called subjects of the federation), took place in March 2014. It was followed by the annexation proclaimed by the Kremlin on March 18, 2014, as a result of a false referendum.

Earlier The Journalist reported The EU plans to extend sanctions against Russia because of annexation of Crimea.
