On June 17, the illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire regime 35 times, nine times using 120mm and 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk Agreements. The enemy also shelled our defenders from the weapon mounted on the infantry fighting vehicles (BMP), grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms, as the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation wrote in Facebook.
In the area of activity of the Vostok (“East”) operational-tactical group, the militants attacked Ukrainian positions 17 times: two times near Shirokine using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms; two times in the area of the settlement of Lebedynske, using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms; near Talakivka – using automatic grenade launchers and small arms; near Pischevyk – using lheavy machine guns; three times near Vodiane – from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms; three times near Pavlopil – from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms; Novoselivka Druha – using automatic grenade launchers; Pisky – using 120mm and 82mm mortars, easel anti-tank grenade launcher and heavy machine gun; near Avdiїvka – using 120mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and small arms; near settlement Marjinka – using 82mm mortar; near Opytne – using heavy machine gun.
In the area of activity of the Sever(“North”) operational-tactical group, the enemy attacked the JFO positions 18 times: five times near the Pivdenne settlement – using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms; near Krymske – using 82mm mortar; near Popasna – using 82mm mortar and easel anti-tank grenade launcher; seven times near Luhanske – using 120mm mortar, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms; near Shymy – using small arms; near the settlement of Novotoshkivske – using grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms; Novooleksandrivka – using 120mm mortar, weapons mounted on the infantry fighting vehicles and easel anti-tank grenade launcher; near Zolote-4 – using 82mm mortar, hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher and heavy machine gun.
As a result, one Ukrainian defender received combat related injuries.
According to the intelligence data, on June 17 three occupiers were injured.
