7 main reasons of road accidents in Ukraine

The patrol police of Ukraine named seven road accidents reasons in Ukraine.

The main causes of road accidents in Ukraine in the period from January 1 to May 31, 2019 have been identified, namely:

32.8% – due to exceeding safe speed;

19.1% – due to violation of the rules of maneuvering;

9.4% – due to a violation of the rules for driving through the intersection;

8.4% – due to non-compliance with the distance;

6.9% – due to driving while intoxicated;

5.6% – due to improper passage of pedestrian crossings;

3.6% – due to wheeling into oncoming traffic.
