The residents of the five largest districts of the city of Poltava were left without water supply for some time. It was caused by the 4th water intake disconnection from the electricity due to debts. It was reported by the press service of Poltavavodokanal, UNIAN informs.
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd Gardens neighborhoods of the city, as well as the Almazne and Polovki were left without water. The water supply and the sewage pumping stations of the entire city were under the threat of being shutdown.
The secretary of the Poltava City Council, Oleksandr Shamota, has reported that the electricity supply was restored and the water supply was resumed after several MPs’ taking up the matter.
As The Journalist reported, in Bila Tserkva water supply was resumed following water samples analysis from the Ros River.
