On July 1, the Ukrainian political prisoner Pavlo Gryb marks his 21st birthday being in Russian captivity.
Pavlo Gryb went missing on August 24, 2017, in Gostomelsky region (Belarus), where he went to meet his girl. In September, it became known that the guy was held in the Russian detention center on charges of terrorism.
The human rights activist said that he had been kidnapped by the Russian security officers.
In March 2019, the North-Caucasian District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don found Pavlo Gryb guilty of “terrorism and agitation for a terrorist act,” and sentenced him to six years in a penal colony.
As The Journalist reported, Ukrainian consuls allowed to meet abducted Pavlo Gryb.
