The former first deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Oleh Gladkovsky, has been reinstated as the head of the Bohdan Corporation, which he headed since its inception in 2005 until 2015, when he was appointed to the public service.This was reported by the Interfax-Ukraine with reference to the press secretary of the corporation, Serhii Krasul.
“After almost five years in the civil service, Bohdan’s Corporation founder and ultimate beneficiary Gladkovsky returned to the management of the company and will oversee the work of importing and dealer enterprises, being responsible for the strategy of automobile plants in Lutsk and Cherkasy,” a spokesman for the corporation said.
The Bohdan Corporation was established in February 2005. It has built automobile factories with annually capacity of 120,000 -150,000 cars in Cherkasy and 6,000 buses and trolley buses in Lutsk, as part of the investment program implementation.
The factory in Cherkasy was redeveloped in 2014 to produce military equipment.
As The Journalist reported, Gladkovsky removed from his duties as the first deputy secretary of NSDC during the investigation.
