Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Israel Hennadii Nadolenko said that Ukraine intends to open an innovation office in Jerusalem, Ukrinform reported.
Nadolenko emphasized that so far Ukraine has no plans for moving the Ukrainian embassy or consulate from Tel Aviv.
“Today we are not consider moving the embassy or consulate [to Jerusalem]. It was a common idea both the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Israel of possibility of opening innovative offices in Jerusalem and Kyiv, which will deal with the development of technological cooperation,” the ambassador said.
The diplomat emphasized that it is extremely important for Ukraine to maintain an innovative relationship with Israel, because it is true “startup nation” which constantly gives rise to new technologies and Ukraine should keep abreast of these technologies.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine will develop in defense area following experience of Israel.
