China intensified grain import from Ukraine

For five years, Ukraine increased the exports of grain to China 20 times – from USD 26 million to USD 533 million, Kurkul.com reports.

Iryna Dushnyk, Executive Director of the Grain Committee of the European Business Association, emphasized that exports of barley are simultaneously declining: the exports halved from 2017 level – from 788,000 tons to 381,000 tons, respectively.

She also stressed that today Ukrainian agricultural producers use their export potential to China only by 7.5%.

As The Journalist reported, Ukraine’s grain exports totaled 4.7 million tons.
