Ukraine pumped 20.37 billion cubic meters of gas into underground storage facilities. This was announced by the head of the company Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine Serhiy Makogon.

“As of September 30, 2019, there are already 20.37 billion cubic meters of gas in underground storages. We import 69.2 million cubic meters per day, which is the maximum volumes of gas. We move on. Preparations for the winter are undergo according to plan,” Makogon said.

The volume of gas reserves this year increased due to the fact of high probability of termination of the Russian gas transit through the gas transmission system (GTS) of Ukraine to Europe. Naftogaz noted that Ukraine will have enough gas even if Russia stops the transit.

Станом на 30.09.2019 у ПХГ вже 20,37 млрд м3 газу. Імпорт триває у максимальних обсягах 69,2 млн м3 на добу.Рухаємось далі. Підготовка до зими йде за планом.
