The Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine plans to finalize a list of 800 state-owned enterprises available for privatization in the near future. This was announced by the head of the department Tymofiy Mylovanov on Facebook.
The Minister noted that the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that allows the privatization of all enterprises except for strategic ones.
“Investments are unlocked. The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law #1054-1, which allows the privatization of all enterprises except for strategic ones. We will soon finish agreeing on a list of 800 enterprises available to privatization. Of course, the enterprises on a list which are important to the state will be owned by the state. And everything else will be available to privatization to attract investment and promote economic growth,” Mylovanov wrote.
