On October 24, the illegal armed groups almost doubled the number of shelling – in total, 25 attacks were recorded over the past 24 hours in Donbas, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reports.
The militants resorted to the weapons mounted on the infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
Under the enemy fire came Ukrainian positions near Marjinka, two times near Talakivka, two times near Bohdanivka, Verkhniotoretske, Slavne, two times near Avdiivka and Shyrokyne. Five more shellings were recorded near Zolote-4 (outside disengagement area), Zaitseve, two times near Luhanske, Troitske and Krymske.
As a result of shelling, one member of the Joint Forces was injured.
From the day-start, the Russian-led armed formations did not show fire activity.
